Yaw Asamoah Agyei signed a last-minute transfer from EurAfrica FC to Atalanta BC on transfer deadline day, agreeing to a 1.5-year deal with an option for two more years. The move was brokered by Arthurlegacy Sports.Agyei is described as a modern centre-forward — physically strong at around 180cm, right-footed, with the ability to hold up the ball and occupy the area as a reference striker. Atalanta’s pipeline from U18 to Primavera to U23 in Serie C is considered one of the best environments for developing foreign talent. EurAfrica FC is a Ghanaian academy already known for producing players like Felix Afena-Gyan and Ibrahim Sulemana, who have gone on to play in European football.The deal was brokered by ArthurLegacy Sports, an agency specialising in scouting young African talent, which also represents Ibrahim Sulemana — currently on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta.
